Director, Strategic Healthcare Programs

Baxter seeks an experienced healthcare leader to design and execute strategic healthcare programs across the U.S. market. The role combines deep health system knowledge with commercial acumen to build partnerships, develop innovative program models, and drive cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute strategic healthcare program approaches that differentiate portfolio positioning
Map healthcare ecosystems and identify key stakeholders, payers, providers, and decision-makers nationally and regionally
Partner with customers to co-create programs and lead pilot initiatives demonstrating measurable outcomes
Coordinate across sales, marketing, HEOR, medical affairs, and finance teams to align strategy and execution
Build evidence, case studies, and customer success stories for external representation and market credibility

Requirements

10+ years in U.S. healthcare across provider, payer, medtech, pharma, or consulting sectors
Proven commercial success with bundled payments, shared savings, risk-based contracts, or CMS models
Deep understanding of U.S. health system economics, reimbursement pathways, and provider incentives
Exceptional commercial acumen and ability to build compelling customer narratives
Strong executive presence, influence, and ability to lead across multiple functions
Experience with health economics, HEOR, or policy is a strong advantage

Compensation: $184,000-$253,000 base annually
