Retail Sales and Service Technician (SST) The retail Sales and Service Technician (SST) is a hybrid role serving as a key pipeline for future career growth within Firestone Complete Auto Care. It primarily focuses on customer service, recommending products and services, performing entry‑level vehicle services, and ensuring customer satisfaction through timely completion of services. Successful individuals learn all aspects of store operations and flex between front‑end customer interactions and basic vehicle service tasks. Pay Range: $14.40 - $21.51 per hour Responsibilities 75% Customer service, sales, and customer issue resolution 25% Basic vehicle service tasks (oil change, tire service, fluid top‑offs) Store operations including opening/closing, inventory, and display maintenance as needed Assist or act as Manager‑On‑Duty when required to support managerial responsibilities Learn all store operations and flex between front‑end and back‑shop tasks Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent Valid automobile driver’s license Customer‑service orientation and a career‑growth mindset Ability to learn and perform basic vehicle service tasks Ability to learn and operate store systems Preferred Qualifications Two‑year degree or completion of a non‑traditional training program, certification, or other evidence of a growth mindset Previous consumer retail sales experience Previous automotive experience (a plus) Previous management or supervisory experience (a plus) Benefits Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage starting day 1 Paid vacation and holidays On‑the‑job training and company‑funded ASE certifications Flexible work schedule 401(k) match On‑demand pay (daily pay) program available Equal Employment Opportunity Bridgestone is a proud Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
