Performs inventory maintenance activities, including instrument repairs, vendor tray management, tracking system updates, inventory audits, and instrument database maintenance, to ensure accurate inventory records, operational readiness, and compliance with departmental standards. Does this position require Patient Care? No Essential Functions: -Maintains inventory records for reusable medical devices, surgical instrumentation, and specialty equipment within the instrument tracking system. -Coordinates instrument repair activities, including identification, documentation, vendor communication, shipment, and return processing. -Manages vendor-owned instrumentation, including receipt, inventory verification, tracking system entry, and return coordination. -Assists with the creation and maintenance of instrument records, tray configurations, count sheets, and associated documentation within the tracking system.
