Position Summary The Restaurant Services Zone Manager supports the management of all active accounts and vendor partners within an assigned market. He or she provides leadership and initiative to ensure services are complete and client expectations are met or exceeded, evaluates the performance of service partners and communicates with the client to achieve satisfaction, and fully leverages our relationships to benefit the client and KBS. Job Overview Maintenance and repair experience, understanding of regional plants and maintenance service types, a keen eye for quality inspections, and enhancement experience are required. The role includes working with vendors and customers, conducting quality inspections, and collaborating with account coordinators and supervisors to relay information about customer sites. Key Responsibilities Communicate frequently with customers to ensure high quality and service expectations are met. Proactively present and sell site enhancement ideas to customers. Assist in resolving issues with customer service when needed. Conduct Quality Site Assessments of service partners’ work on clients’ sites. Identify and communicate business development opportunities to the Regional Zone Manager. Communicate weekly schedule to store managers and service partners. Coordinate new service partners to serve clients in a designated territory. Develop and sustain long‑term relationships with service partners to ensure consistency of service to the client. Provide instruction to service partners regarding client expectations. Communicate non‑contract client requests and ensure work is scheduled in a timely manner. Communicate closely with the office team and Regional Zone Managers and provide documentation from site visits (photos, site visit reports, etc.). Complete daily reports on activities (sites visited, contacts made, issues handled, site inspection forms completed, etc.) and submit to the Regional Zone Manager. Communicate billing details to client and answer any questions. Manage out‑of‑scope requests by gathering quotes and contractors for approval through the service channel. Remain available 24/7 for customer and employee contact; weekend communication is expected only in case of emergency. Other tasks and duties as assigned. Requirements Minimum of 3 years of prior customer service, management and leadership experience within the organization, the industry and the local marketplace. Prior experience working with subcontractors and performing maintenance and repairs. Ability to communicate from any location and travel within territory with a high degree of flexibility. Ability to generate customer solutions that are creative and consistent with the brand image of the company. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Network with industry and trade contacts within the marketplace. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook). Proficiency in estimating, pricing and billing of services.
