Network Technician

Site Mass General Brigham Incorporated Job Summary MGB Digital Desktop Support Tech Services is hiring a Full Time Network Support Technician. The role is essential for managing and supporting a wide range of technical systems and equipment. Responsibilities include transporting, setting up, installing, and decommissioning systems, performing tasks per layout diagrams and project schedules, running diagnostic tests, troubleshooting issues, and providing technical support and guidance to peers to minimize disruptions and maintain productivity. Responsibilities Transport, set up, install, and decommission systems. Perform tasks in accordance with layout diagrams and project schedules. Run diagnostic tests on systems; troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues. Assist customers with technical issues related to computers, applications, or telecom. Document issues and resolutions effectively and efficiently. Provide professional, efficient, and effective customer service to the end‑user community, focused on routine matters. Monitor and maintain inventory levels for equipment and accessories. Qualifications High School Diploma or Equivalent required. Customer service experience 0‑1 year required. Ability to multitask and prioritize work demands. Good interpersonal and communication skills. General knowledge of desktop and laptop computers, printers, and other computing equipment. Proficiency with associated technical systems and software. Familiarity with Mac OS, Office 365, and common software applications, as well as phone systems.
