Inside Sales Representative – Electrical Supply (Hard-to-Find & Obsolete Parts)

$40,000–$60,000/year (Hourly + Monthly Commission)

Full Time | Monday–Friday, 8:00–4:00 | Paid Time Off + Benefits

S&S Electrical Supply specializes in obsolete, hard-to-find, and specialty electrical equipment. For 20+ years, we’ve helped contractors, maintenance teams, and industrial facilities keep their systems running when standard supply houses can’t deliver.

We are growing and looking for an Inside Sales Representative who is:

• Knowledgeable about electrical parts

• Confident on the phone

• Detail-oriented and accurate

• Motivated to build relationships and close deals

What You’ll Do

• Manage and grow sales of in-stock electrical equipment: breakers, panels, switchgear, and related materials

• Help customers find the right obsolete or specialty part for their job

• Build lasting relationships with contractors, electricians, and industrial clients

• Make warm and cold calls to generate new opportunities

• Identify and execute up-sell and cross-sell opportunities

• Understand competitive products and pricing to position our solutions effectively

• Work closely with operations to ensure accurate orders and exceptional service

• Keep customer records, quotes, and follow-ups organized and precise

What We’re Looking For

• Working knowledge of electrical equipment, breakers, and basic electrical systems

• Strong phone sales and customer service skills

• Organized, dependable, punctual, and able to manage multiple customer requests

• Positive, team-oriented attitude

• Strong written and verbal communication

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel (Shopify a plus)

What We Offer

• $20–$30/hr + monthly commission (Total earnings $40,000–$60,000+)

• Full-time schedule, Monday–Friday, 8:00–4:00 — no nights, weekends, or travel
