Mechanical DesignerTipton - Martin Energy - Tipton, MOPurpose of the RoleCreate models and drawings using 3D CAD programs for fabrication and customer submittal packages.Key Responsibilities and DutiesTranslate mechanical piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs) to 3D modelsCreate customer layout drawings from 3D modelsCreate fabrication drawings from 3D modelsRevise existing 3D modelsRevise existing drawingsSizing and design of mechanical systemsReview physical equipment during constructionSupport manufacturing and service during production/commissioningAdhere to company and client engineering standards and proceduresCommunicate with contractors and customers using clear verbal and written communicationQualificationsRequirementsEducation :High school diplomaDrafting associate's degree or certificate from a trade school or college preferredMay substitute for relevant experienceExperience :Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)Basic understanding of mechanical assemblySkills :Strong understanding of engineering principles and design methodologiesExcellent verbal and written communication skills to convey technical details to peers and customersAdvanced problem-solving and analytical abilitiesFocus and attention to detail for complex mechanical systemsAbility to work in a collaborative team environmentStrong time management and organizational skillsFluent in English Martin Energy Group
