As an Electrical Control Apprentice at MCAT Solutions LLC, you’ll jump right into the action! Your day-to-day will involve assisting experienced technicians with controls wiring, sensor wiring, and control panel wiring tasks. You’ll engage with BAS systems, learning how to troubleshoot and install building automation solutions. Expect to work alongside automation technician trainees and field technician trainees, absorbing their expertise and tackling hands-on projects. Your schedule will be Monday to Friday, from 6 AM to 4:30 PM, allowing for a structured yet flexible workday.

Each day will present new challenges as you develop your skills in low voltage installations and commissioning assistant tasks, fostering a collaborative and customer-centric environment. You'll be encouraged to bring your problem-solving mindset, contributing to innovative projects that make our work exciting!

To thrive as an Electrical Control Apprentice at MCAT Solutions LLC, you'll need a mix of hands-on skills and a passion for learning. Being proficient in safely using basic hand tools and power tools is crucial, as you'll be involved in controls wiring and other electrical tasks daily. Accuracy is key; you'll need to comfortably read and measure with a tape measure to ensure precise installations in building automation systems.

Additionally, since some of your work may involve heights, a comfort level with working on ladders and lifts is essential. A proactive attitude, combined with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to new technologies, will set you up for success. Knowledge and skills required for the position are:

• Able to safely use basic hand tools and power tools.
• Able to accurately read and measure using a tape measure.
• Comfortable working at heights (on Ladders & Lifts)
