Principal / Distinguished Engineer - Mulit-Cloud Control Plane - Kubernetes

Role Overview Join ServiceNow as a Distinguished Engineer to set technical direction for our cloud-native platform across multiple engineering teams and organizations. You will own the hardest, most ambiguous problems in the platform domain, including multi‑cloud topology, control‑plane design, workload isolation, identity and trust fabric, and reliability at scale. What You Will Do Set technical direction for the cloud‑native platform, own the hardest technical problems, partner with senior technical leaders, and personally design and build critical components. Mentor staff and principal engineers and shape the next generation of technical leadership. You will have the opportunity to work on the hardest problems in the platform domain and to drive consistent architectural decisions across the entire platform ecosystem. Requirements 12+ years of experience designing, building, and operating large‑scale distributed systems in production Deep expertise running Kubernetes at scale (multi‑cluster, multi‑region, multi‑tenant) Hands‑on, authoritative experience across one or more major hyperscalers (AWS, Azure, GCP) Strong programming skills in Go and fluency across the cloud‑native ecosystem Experience designing identity and trust fabrics for distributed systems Experience with multi‑tenant workload isolation and runtime security Experience building and operating platforms for regulated or federal markets Experience with observability at scale Benefits Base pay of $254,500 - $445,400 Equity (when applicable) Variable/incentive compensation Health plans, including flexible spending accounts 401(k) Plan with company match ESPP Matching donations Flexible time away plan Family leave programs #J-18808-Ljbffr ServiceNow
