Logistics Specialist

Schedule may transition to four 10-hour shifts based on business needs. Job Summary We are seeking a Logistics Specialist I to support warehouse and supply chain operations in a fast-paced production environment. This role is responsible for inventory tracking, shipping and receiving, logistics coordination, documentation, and inventory accuracy. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, comfortable working in a warehouse environment, and able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining high safety and quality standards. Key Responsibilities Verify inventory-related billing for accuracy and prepare documentation for processing. Assemble, package, label, address, and prepare materials and merchandise for shipment. Coordinate daily pickups and deliveries between warehouse and production locations. Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and materials moving in and out of the facility. Monitor inventory transactions and ensure documentation is complete and accurate. Support shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations to maintain efficient material flow. Assist with loading and unloading shipments as needed. Follow established safety procedures and maintain quality standards at all times. Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts or cherry pickers after completing required training and certification. Collaborate with warehouse, logistics, inventory, and production teams to ensure timely movement of materials. Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous experience in warehouse, logistics, shipping & receiving, inventory control, or supply chain operations is preferred. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to maintain accurate inventory and shipping records. Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Ability to prioritize tasks and work in a fast-paced environment. Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the shift. Ability to occasionally lift, move, load, and unload materials. Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with moderate to loud noise levels. Ability to work in varying temperatures, including occasional hot or cold conditions. Comfortable working around moving mechanical equipment.
