Assistant Director of Nursing – Belmont Bay Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center Location: Belmont Bay Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center Employment Type: Full-time Salary: $90k–$120k per year Responsibilities Assist the Director of Nursing (DON) in planning all aspects of the nursing operation, setting priorities, and allocating job assignments. Serve as a care champion for the 5‑chair dialysis unit. Monitor unit activities, communicate policies, evaluate performance, provide feedback, and coach or discipline staff as needed. Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, staff, and the medical team. Conduct regular rounds to monitor nursing care delivery, coordination with other services, cleanliness and appearance, and staff morale. Carry out, coordinate, and manage administrative functions related to nursing services. Qualifications Must possess a valid, unencumbered RN State License; nursing degree from an accredited college or university preferred. Minimum three (3) years of clinical nursing experience in a hospital, nursing care center, or related setting. Experience in supervising staff and teaching principles of nursing practice. Experience in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices strongly preferred. Strong communication skills; ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, families, visitors, government agencies, and the public. Knowledge of nursing and medical practices and procedures, including laws, regulations, and guidelines applicable to nursing care facilities.
