We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and detail-oriented care professional to provide high-quality support to individuals in their homes. In this role, you will help clients maintain comfort, safety, independence, and dignity while assisting with everyday needs and promoting a positive quality of life.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care needs, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting as directed by the care plan.
- Support with light housekeeping, meal preparation, laundry, and maintaining a clean and organized living environment.
- Provide companionship and encourage engagement in daily routines and activities.
- Assist with mobility, transfers, positioning, and ambulation as appropriate and within scope of practice.
- Remind clients to take prescribed medications in accordance with agency policies and care instructions.
- Monitor and report changes in client condition, behavior, or needs to the appropriate supervisor or care team.
- Assist with errands, appointments, and other non-medical tasks as assigned.
- Follow all care plans, safety protocols, infection control procedures, and documentation requirements.
- Maintain client privacy, confidentiality, and respectful communication at all times.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in home care, personal care, or a related support role is preferred.
- Ability to provide compassionate, respectful, and reliable care to individuals with varying needs.
- Strong communication and observational skills.
- Ability to follow instructions, care plans, and established procedures.
- Basic understanding of safety practices and infection control.
- Physical ability to perform the essential duties of the role, which may include lifting, bending, standing, and assisting with mobility.
- Valid certification or training may be required depending on state, agency, or client assignment.
- Reliable transportation may be preferred or required for certain assignments.

Work Environment
This position is primarily based in a client’s home and may involve travel between assignments depending on agency needs. The role requires a professional, respectful, and service-focused approach while working independently and as part of a care team.
