Field Engineer

Hourly hiring range: $25.00 to $35.00 (based on years of experience and certifications) Falcon is seeking a Field Engineer for our Cary, NC Testing and Inspections group. Falcon offers paid training, certifications, and renewals. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, materials testing, inspections, and daily field reporting. Investigations of existing structures and non‑destructive evaluations of materials. Required Qualifications: Four-year Civil Engineering Degree Preferred Qualifications: Preferred certifications: NCDOT and American Concrete Institute (ACI) Field Technician Level I, Nuclear Gauge User Certification. Certification as Engineering Intern (EI) Have a basic understanding of plans/blueprints. Be able to lift equipment up to 80 lbs. Be able to perform physical activities required of the testing procedures including squatting, bending, lifting, climbing, and traversing difficult terrain. Have a willingness to perform work after regular business hours, occasional night work, and some weekends when necessary. Driver’s license required. Will train the right candidate (company will pay for all certifications).
