Core Responsibilities Performance of ongoing preventive and repair response work orders on facility mechanical, electrical, and other installed systems, equipment, and other components. Basic understanding in-house for different sectors of the office including HVAC. Oversee and manage the maintenance, operation, and repair of all HVAC system (or connect with vendors to repair) and associated equipment, electrical distribution equipment, plumbing systems, building interior/exterior repair, and related grounds as it pertains to assigned buildings. Perform assigned facility inspections and due diligence efforts, reporting on as found conditions impacting satisfactory client occupancy and operations. Manage and monitor ticketing and work order systems, utilizing CMMS technology. Maintain relationships with vendors; schedule and support vendor’s working onsite. Support onsite events with setup, execution, and reset of all event related tasks. Comply with all safety procedures, maintaining good housekeeping and safety of work areas. Recognize danger and safety hazards and propose methods to eliminate them. Maintain compliance to State, County, or City Ordinances, Codes, or Laws. Must be willing and able to support any after‑hours building related activity as required. Support other tasks related to success of mission critical work for business. Go where you are needed most What We Require High school Diploma or GED 3+ years working in a corporate office either as a Facilities Maintenance or Handyman Must have experience supporting facilities duties in a corporate office and not residential Requires experience managing vendors; speaking with vendors, have knowledge of vendors in the area, and working very closely with vendors. Experience with knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical equipment repair, and maintenance. (Example, fix basic faucet leak, door etc. Able to be hands on and can‑do basic office repairs) Bonus: Experience with ticketing systems and work orders or able to learn how to complete ticket work orders. Some knowledge of building management system – thermostat (know how to adjust and basic troubleshoot) Requires basic computer skills – able to use MS Work etc and comfortable using the computer Must have excellent communication skills: people person and enjoys communication with others and having a good working relationship with vendors. Must be able to lift up to 80 lbs. and climb up to 30 ft. ladders. Ability to perform on call duties and overtime as required (Only in emergencies and occasionally; 1 Saturday a month if its urgent).
