Job Description Additional Information About the Role: Schedule: PRN; Flexible scheduling; No weekends/holidays; Region: Greater St. Louis; Perks: Mileage reimbursement. Overview: BJC Home Care offers patients and their families a complete range of home care services, including skilled nursing services, adult and pediatric hospice and supportive care, rehabilitation therapy, home infusion therapy, infusion treatment rooms, home medical equipment and high-tech respiratory care. Role Purpose Provides direct patient care activities in the home environment including assessment, evaluation, treatment planning, and implementation within the guidelines of the standards for speech therapy practice and according to physician orders. Responsibilities Instructs patient and family in treatment procedures. Re-evaluates patient and adapts treatment program accordingly to achieve maximum benefit. Confers with physician and other practitioners to obtain additional information, suggest revisions in treatment plan and integrate therapy treatment with other aspects of patients’ care. Minimum Requirements Education: Master’s Degree in Speech Pathology. Experience: 2-5 years. Supervisor Experience: No Experience. Licenses & Certifications: Valid Driver’s License, Speech‑Language Pathologist.
