Smart Plant Instrumentation and Smart Plant P&ID are plant design and instrumentation engineering software to manage data across the facilities and refining plant lifecycle. Mangan’s dedicated SPI team is searching for an individual to support our growing engineering requirements for Project Instrument Indexes, P&ID’s, Loop Drawings, and Electrical Wiring. This position requires extensive attention to detail, a willingness to learn, solid Excel experience and experience in oil and gas engineering. The candidate will be responsible of: Supporting Mangan SPI project and clients. Junior to Mid-Level experience with SPI (Smart Instrumentation) and SPP&ID (Smart P&ID). Experience with reading, understanding P&ID’s and translating into SPI and SPP&ID. Reading and understanding wiring diagrams and translating into SPI. SPI Experience: Batch Loop and Tag creation. Batch Wiring connections. Basic understanding of SPI ESL layouts and macros. Creation of DCS/PLC/SIS panels. Basic understanding of revision archiving for SPI documents. SPP&ID Experience: Placing equipment, piping, and instruments. Using the Properties Grid. Manipulating graphics. Placing assemblies. Using Filters to optimize your work. Working with the Engineering Data Editor. Checking design and data consistency. Creating symbols and labels. Attitude: Exhibits a positive attitude, shows initiative and accepts direction from qualified sources; demonstrates dependability, commitment and involvement to Mangan projects. Teamwork: Interacts well and cooperates with co-workers on the team; assists team members and shows respect for all team members. Quality: Work meets or exceeds the company’s quality standard of acceptability; has the ability to manage multiple tasks. Knowledge: Displays the ability to perform the technical skills required for the project Communication: Effectively and respectfully communicate on all levels, both written and oral, with both clients and Mangan personnel.
