About the Position

Job Title: CVOR CST Profession: CST/ORT Specialty: OR Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 06:30-17:00 Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum 1 Year License: CST Required Certifications: On Call Required Must-Have: CVOR CST Experience Description: This contract position is for a Cardiovascular Surgical Technologist. The shift will run from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM. Candidates will be required to be on call one week night per week and one weekend per month. The unit typically operates with a 1:1 patient ratio. Equipment used includes surgical instruments, bovie cautery, EVH video tower, laparoscopic video tower, surgical tourniquet, IABP console, Impella console, cryo system, and patient warming/cooling systems. Candidates without CVOR CST experience will not be considered for the role. Preferred candidates will have experience with procedures such as CABG, Aortic/Mitral Valve Repair/Replacement, AAA Endovascular & Open, AV Fistula creation/revision/thrombectomy, HDC, CAPD, BBT, TAVR, TMVR, and MitraClip. Ideal candidates will be mature, team-oriented, flexible with their schedule, and willing to assist others. Good attendance and punctuality are expected. Scrubs will be provided as part of the dress code. This position may lead to permanent opportunities for qualified candidates.
