Sharkey's Nanuet is currently looking for a talented and passionate Hair Stylist or Barber to join our fun, and growing team in Nanuet, NY! This is a fantastic opportunity to do what you love in a welcoming environment where creativity and client connection are at the heart of everything we do.

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality haircuts, styling, and grooming services to a diverse clientele
• Deliver exceptional customer service and build lasting relationships with clients
• Perform kids' and adult haircuts with precision and care
• Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized workstation at all times
• Upsell retail hair care products and additional services to clients
• Stay current with trending styles, techniques, and barbering best practices
• Collaborate with team members to ensure a positive salon experience for every guest

Requirements:

• Valid New York State Cosmetology or Barber license required
• Prior experience as a hair stylist, barber, or in a salon/barbershop setting preferred
• Strong cutting, styling, and finishing skills across a variety of hair types
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends
• Passion for the craft and commitment to ongoing trends, education and growth
