Job Position: Practice Manager
Location: Savannah, GA 31406 Pay Rate: Starting $38.46/hr. Shift: 1st Description: As Practice Manager, you'll oversee the daily operations of our internal medicine clinic, ensuring high-quality, efficient care. You'll lead both clinical and administrative teams, working closely with medical providers to optimize patient experience and clinic performance. Key Responsibilities- Operational Leadership: Develop and implement clinic policies and procedures; ensure adherence to HIPAA and other healthcare regulations
- Team Management: Hire, train, supervise, and evaluate front-office and clinical staff. Address performance issues and foster a positive, collaborative work environment .
- Financial Oversight: Create and manage the clinic budget-including revenue tracking, expense control, insurance billing, and collections .
- Quality & Compliance: Oversee quality improvement initiatives, maintain regulatory compliance, and monitor patient satisfaction metrics. Partner with providers to address issues promptly
- Workflow Optimization: Manage patient scheduling, ensure EHR accuracy, and identify opportunities to streamline clinic operations .
- Patient Relations: Resolve patient concerns, ensure timely follow-up on results, and uphold high service standards.
- Supply & Inventory: Monitor medical and office supply levels, negotiate with vendors, and control clinic expenses.
- Reporting & Communication: Prepare regular performance reports for leadership. Collaborate across departments to support clinical and administrative goals.
- Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Public Health, or equivalent experience required. Practice management or clinic leadership experience strongly preferred
- Healthcare Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of HIPAA, medical billing, insurance processes, and EHR systems (experience with Athena or NextGen is a plus).
- Leadership Skills:
- Excellent communication, organization, time management, and conflict-resolution abilities.
- Technical Proficiency:
- Comfortable with clinic management software, MS Office or Google Workspace.
- Soft Skills:
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams, promote positive culture, and cultivate strong patient and provider relationships.
- Certified in healthcare administration (e.g., CEHRS, CMM, CMPE, CPPM)
- Previous experience managing a primary care or specialty clinic in Georgia.
- Familiarity with chronic disease management protocols, quality initiatives, and value-based care models.
