Data Analyst
Turn data into clear decisions, stronger processes, and measurable results. Pinnacle Charter Schools is seeking a Data Analyst who can analyze departmental performance, identify improvements, and take responsibility for putting those improvements into practice.

The Opportunity
We are seeking an analytical, organized, and results-oriented Data Analyst to strengthen departmental performance and organizational effectiveness.

This position combines data analysis with hands-on operational management. You will review information from organizational systems, identify performance gaps, and translate findings into clear priorities and action plans. You will also manage assigned workflows, coordinate or supervise staff, and ensure that required actions are completed accurately and on time.

The selected candidate may be assigned responsibility for a departmental function based on organizational needs. Success requires the ability to learn unfamiliar processes, establish clear expectations, and take ownership of both daily execution and measurable outcomes.

What You’ll Do

Data Analysis & Reporting
Collect, validate, and analyze data from multiple systems, resolving discrepancies and verifying the accuracy of reported activity and results.
Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and tracking tools that clearly show performance against established goals.
Analyze conversion and completion rates, turnaround times, workload distribution, and outstanding cases to identify trends and areas requiring attention.
Present findings to leadership with clear recommendations, priorities, and measurable next steps.

Operational Management & Accountability
Manage assigned departmental workflows, ensuring that daily activities support established goals and service expectations.
Translate objectives into staff assignments, deadlines, and performance measures.
Supervise or coordinate assigned staff, review work quality and productivity, and provide specific feedback and follow-up.
Monitor pending cases, incomplete records, and unresolved issues, ensuring that each has an owner, a next step, and timely resolution.
Participate directly in assigned operations, including handling communications, resolving service issues, and completing tasks when needed.

Process Improvement & Collaboration
Investigate the causes of delays, errors, and missed targets, and implement practical improvements.
Document procedures and train staff to follow consistent workflows and maintain accurate records.
Work with technology teams to improve reporting, system functionality, and automation, including testing changes and confirming their effectiveness.
Coordinate with leadership and teams across locations to resolve barriers, track improvement efforts, and evaluate results.

Documentation & Professional Responsibilities
Maintain accurate documentation and protect confidential student, employee, and organizational information.
Perform other duties as assigned.

What You Bring
Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Business Administration, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related field preferred; a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered.
A minimum of four years of relevant experience in data analysis, business operations, performance management, or a combination of these areas.
Demonstrated experience managing workflows, leading or coordinating staff, and taking responsibility for measurable results.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, lookup functions, data validation, and working with large datasets.
Experience preparing reports and performance summaries that support management decisions.
Ability to reconcile information from multiple sources, investigate discrepancies, and identify the causes of operational problems.
Familiarity with CRM platforms, information systems, or other business applications, with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
Clear communication skills and the ability to explain findings, establish expectations, and provide constructive feedback.
Strong organizational skills, sound judgment, attention to detail, and consistent follow-through.
Flexibility to learn and manage different departmental functions as organizational needs evolve.
Experience with Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or comparable reporting and analysis tools is a plus.
Experience in education, a service-oriented organization, or a multi-site environment is a plus.
