RN - PACU

Registered Nurse - Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)

This position requires an 8-hour day shift from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse specializing in Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the recovery phase of surgical patients, ensuring quality care and monitoring post-operative recovery.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor post-operative patients and assess their recovery progress.
• Administer medications and manage pain control measures.
• Provide clear communication to patients and their families regarding recovery and aftercare.
• Maintain comprehensive patient records and collaborate with the surgical team.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• A minimum of 3 years of general PACU experience.
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) License in New Jersey.
• Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
