Job Details Our client is seeking an experienced Attorney to join their legal team. This role supports insurance claims and litigation matters, with opportunities available in both Pre-Suit and Litigation capacities. The ideal candidate will have strong Florida litigation experience, excellent legal judgment, and the ability to independently manage cases while partnering with internal claims professionals and business stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Manage pre-litigation claims and legal matters from evaluation through resolution Provide legal guidance related to claim investigations, liability analysis, and negotiations Partner with claims teams to assess risk and resolve matters efficiently Analyze coverage issues and provide strategic recommendations Manage assigned litigation matters through all stages of the legal process Develop litigation strategies and represent the organization in legal proceedings Conduct depositions, motion practice, mediations, and trial preparation Draft pleadings, motions, correspondence, and other legal documents Collaborate with claims professionals and internal stakeholders to achieve favorable outcomes Qualifications Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school Active Florida Bar membership in good standing 4+ years of Florida litigation experience First-party property defense experience strongly preferred Strong knowledge of Florida civil procedure, evidence rules, and insurance-related statutes Excellent legal writing, research, negotiation, and advocacy skills Ability to independently manage deadlines, priorities, and caseload responsibilities Strong professionalism, ethics, and commitment to quality legal work Equal Opportunity Employer Jobot is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
