Date: Apr 10, 2026 Location Denver, CO, US; Los Angeles, CA, US; San Marcos, CA, US; Chicago, IL, US; Bloomington, MN, US; Walnut Creek, CA, US; Gaithersburg, MD, US; Burlington, MA, US Opportunity The successful candidate will contribute to technical due diligence engagements for data center/digital as well as other infrastructure assets on behalf of lenders and investors; initially serving in a supporting role to a multi‑disciplinary team of Independent Engineering and Technical Due Diligence consultants. This role includes collecting and analyzing data, developing technical assessment reports, conducting site visits, maintaining client contacts, and progressively taking overall project management responsibilities. Key Responsibilities Transfers knowledge, capabilities, and skills to improve others’ knowledge and skill levels Enhances established working relationships with team members and management from within the client’s organization Contributes to quality review on own engagement Ascertains and meets client expectations within scope of engagement role Develops applicable knowledge bases by using best practices to redefine tools and techniques Outlines specific performance measures, targets, and goals to articulate the business case for realized efficiencies or added value Contributes to multiple projects at any given time Translates analyses into written reports and presentations Industry Knowledge Capability Demonstrated knowledge of data center development, design, construction and/or operations Leverages experience with early site development, tenant/offtake negotiation or management, engineering and design, inspections, outage assessment, budget processes, equipment condition assessment, capital project assessments, reliability/availability assessments, conducting field observations, performance assessments, and/or financial analysis and models Applies appropriate methods or recognized equivalent to identified client needs Anticipates and resolves technical problems with occasional technical assistance from others Develops, presents, and defends conclusions, recommendations, and implementation plans Analyzes and applies best practices knowledge of the relevant industries Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree or relevant work experience 4+ years experience in a business/consulting environment All applicants must be able to complete pre‑employment onboarding requirements (background check, drug screen, motor vehicle records search as applicable) Preferred Qualifications Engineering degree or other technical degree preferred; financial, economic, or MBA degrees considered with relevant experience Understanding of tenants/offtakes, development, design and operational differences between hyper‑scale, edge and colocation data centers and familiarity with data center tier rating systems Industry knowledge of one or more of the following related to data centers: Data center development (site selection, feasibility study, interconnection, access to power/fiber/water) Design (civil, structural, mechanical/energy modelling/HVAC, electrical) Construction/Commissioning Operations Understanding of data center infrastructure, power distribution, energy modelling, cooling systems, redundancy requirements (e.g., fiber, water, power/generation) and backup requirements Ability to operate multiple software packages: Microsoft Office, PC literacy Certifications Certifications related to area of expertise, where applicable preferred.
