Job Title: Customer Relations Specialist Monthly Pay: $3,533 - $4,962 USD per month Summary: Phone calls, emails, and live chat are the three ways this role connects with customers. The Customer Relations Specialist responds directly to customer questions, resolves service concerns, and shares accurate product or service information so customers receive clear and dependable support. This role sits on the customer service team and works under a customer service team lead while partnering with customers, support teammates, and internal service contacts. The position is fully remote and work from home in North Carolina, United States. The role requires a 40-hour weekly commitment. Working days and shift times may vary. Success in this role matters because thoughtful, timely communication helps maintain positive customer relationships and keeps service requests moving toward resolution. Job Responsibilities: Receive customer questions through a phone queue, email inbox, live chat, and service tickets, then identify the reason for each contact. Listen carefully to customer concerns, ask relevant clarifying questions, and provide accurate product or service information within assigned guidance. Create and update customer profiles, interaction notes, and request details in a CRM such as Zoho CRM. Track service tickets from opening through resolution in a support platform such as Salesforce Service Cloud. Handle incoming and outbound customer conversations through a contact-center phone system such as RingCentral. Respond to real-time questions through a live chat platform such as LiveChat while maintaining a professional and helpful tone. Research available account history, prior notes, and service information to provide consistent responses across communication channels. Follow up with customers when additional details, updates, or confirmation are needed to move a request forward. Escalate unresolved, urgent, or specialized service issues to the customer service team lead or appropriate internal service contact with complete notes. Meet quality expectations through accurate responses, timely turnaround, complete notes, and reliable follow-up on assigned customer requests. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. About 1-2 years of customer relations, customer support, contact center, or related experience preferred. Knowledge of customer inquiry handling, service issue resolution, and professional phone, email, and chat practices. Familiarity with a CRM such as Zoho CRM and a support platform such as Salesforce Service Cloud preferred. Familiarity with a contact-center phone system such as RingCentral and a live chat platform such as LiveChat preferred. Ability to interpret customer concerns, explain product or service information clearly, and maintain respectful interactions. Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to tailor responses for phone, email, and chat channels. Ability to prioritize a changing queue, maintain accurate interaction notes, and follow established service workflows. Reliable computer, high-speed internet, and quiet private workspace, with availability for the 40-hour weekly commitment and agreed working days and shift times. Authorization to work in the United States. Fully remote work supporting customers from a dedicated home workspace. Structured onboarding and training on Zoho CRM, Salesforce Service Cloud, RingCentral, and LiveChat. Regular check-ins with the customer service team lead for coaching, priorities, and service guidance.
