Responsibilities The registered nurse will be responsible for demonstrating performance consistent with professional standards of practice, care, performance, the Nurse Practice Act, and the mission and goals of the Community Health Network. The RN manages patient care in the healthcare continuum to achieve optimum outcomes in a safe and cost-effective manner and demonstrates skills in collaboration, delegation, negotiation, and management of resources. The RN for Community East inpatient neuro unit will provide exceptional care to patients who have a mixed multitude of medical/neurological diagnoses not just stroke and those with neurological deficits. The department is equipped with advanced technology needed to treat patients with the most critical neurological conditions in a welcoming environment that promotes family visitation, which is crucial to the healing process.
