Job Description – Bartender Position Summary The Bartender is responsible for preparing and serving alcoholic and non‑alcoholic beverages in accordance with company standards. You’ll provide excellent guest service, maintain a clean and organized bar, and ensure that every drink and interaction reflects the Santa Fe Cattle Co. brand. What You’ll Do Prepare and serve alcoholic and non‑alcoholic drinks according to standard recipes. Greet guests, learn their names, and ensure a welcoming, personalized experience. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, glassware, and equipment. Monitor bar stock and assist with restocking and inventory management. Communicate specials, promotions, and menu items to guests. Accept guest payments and process transactions accurately. Ensure compliance with all local and state alcohol laws and company policies. Maintain side work and closing duties as assigned by management. Collaborate with servers, hosts, and kitchen staff to provide seamless service. Uphold high standards for quality, presentation, and speed of service. Perform other duties as assigned by management. What You Bring A friendly, outgoing personality and excellent communication skills. Knowledge of beer, wine, spirits, and standard drink recipes. Ability to multitask and stay composed in a fast‑paced environment. Attention to detail and commitment to guest satisfaction. Basic math and cash‑handling skills. Must be of legal age to serve alcohol according to state law. Previous bartending experience preferred but not required. Physical Requirements Stand and remain stationary for up to 8 hours per shift. Bend, stoop, reach, and lift items weighing up to 50 lbs regularly. Work in a fast‑paced, busy bar environment.
