Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (RN) – Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) – Texas

Location: Dallas, Texas

Schedule: Weekend requirement includes Friday and Saturday; possible on-call duties

Highlights:

• Level III or Level IV NICU environment with complex case mix
• Hands-on experience with hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy (HIE) cases, surfactant administration, and PICC line placement
• EPIC electronic medical record system in use
• Professional practice model focused on coordinated patient care and evidence-based nursing processes

Requirements:

• Active Texas RN license or Compact State RN license
• Minimum 2 years of current Level III or Level IV NICU experience
• Demonstrated proficiency in HIE management, surfactant administration, and PICC line insertion
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Current AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
• Two supervisory references from within the last year
• Completion of NICU-specific skills checklist
