Key Responsibilities for the Accounting Specialist: Assist with month-end and year-end close activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations. Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and on time. Perform monthly bank, credit card, and balance sheet reconciliations. Support preparation of financial reports and audit documentation. Assist with payroll processing and payroll compliance activities. Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Qualifications for the Accounting Specialist: 2-5 years of payroll processing experience. Knowledge of payroll regulations, tax withholdings, and compliance requirements. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Experience with payroll software and accounting systems, preferably QuickBooks and NetSuite. Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
