Senior Financial Analyst

A rapidly growing, international consumer goods company is seeking a dynamic, hands-on Senior Financial Analyst to serve as a critical strategic partner to the US executive leadership team. Operating with a lean, startup-like feel, this role offers massive executive exposure, working directly with the VP of Finance, VP of Sales, and VP of Marketing. This is not a highly structured, corporate box-ticking role. We are looking for an ambitious, execution-oriented professional who is excited to "wear many hats," conquer the manual data grunt work, and simultaneously serve as a project manager to help scale our business from 3X over the next five years. Key Responsibilities 1. Financial Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting Margin Modeling: Own the annual budgeting and rolling forecast processes down to the contribution margin level. Variance Tracking: Monitor ongoing financial performance, dissecting and explaining variances against plans to highlight critical commercial trends. Strategic Growth Support: Assist leadership in evaluating expansion opportunities, including upcoming sales/marketing partnerships and bolt-on M&A activity. Pricing Architecture: Manage and optimize the core pricing database and structures, specifically auditing distributor pricing and profitability. Spend Optimization: Review and analyze sales and marketing database expenditures, evaluating trade promotional programs to ensure adequate ROI. Market Share Analysis: Utilize external market data syndicates (e.g., Nielsen) to analyze portfolio performance across core brands and dozens of active SKUs. 3. Data Infrastructure & Systems Project Management Database Transformation: Act as the US project manager and liaison with the global data team to transition heavy, manual Excel transfer workloads into automated solutions. PowerBI Implementation: Coordinate the building, structuring, and deployment of automated PowerBI dashboards and reports. ERP Maintenance: Work actively within SAP to maintain commercial data integrity. Ideal Candidate Profile The Sweet Spot: You have a few years of strong corporate finance experience under your belt and are ready for a step up in autonomy, but you are not looking to manage a team yet. You genuinely enjoy diving into the data weeds and building processes from scratch. Startup Mindset: You excel in environments with low structure and changing priorities. You possess a distinct "can-do" attitude and are willing to take on tactical, execution-heavy tasks alongside high-level analysis. Frictionless Communicator: You can seamlessly manage expectations and take direction from decentralized executive leaders who travel frequently into the local market. Position Requirements Experience: 4+ years of progressive experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Commercial Finance, or Corporate Finance. Industry Preference: Experience within Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG), Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG), or the Alcohol Beverage industry is highly preferred. Technical Arsenal: Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency (highly manual workflows, data transfers, complex modeling) is non-negotiable. Hands-on experience with SAP ERP. Proficiency or strong foundational exposure to PowerBI (or similar BI tools), with the capacity to project-manage report builds.
