Description: This position requires a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to work primarily night shifts. The role involves providing respiratory therapy to adult patients, including critical care and emergency cases. Daily caseloads will vary, with a patient ratio of 14 during the night shift. The therapist will be responsible for managing various airway devices, including endotracheal tubes and tracheostomies. Experience with high flow nasal cannulas and BiPAP/CPAP is essential. Candidates must be able to troubleshoot ventilator alarms and assist in weaning patients from mechanical ventilation. Previous experience in a teaching hospital or trauma center is preferred. The position requires floating within the facility as needed. Availability to work every other weekend is mandatory.
