Certified Surgical Technologist

Jackson HealthPros is seeking an experienced certified surgical technologist to assist physicians and nurses in the operating room for a hospital in Dover, NJ. The clinician will prepare the operating room, sterilize and set up instruments and equipment, and provide direct support to the surgical team during procedures across multiple specialties.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current certification from a program accredited by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA).
• Current BLS certification.
• Minimum 2 years' experience as a certified OR Tech / Surgical Technologist in a surgical environment.
• Certification as a Surgical Technologist required to work in New Jersey.
• Experience with eye surgery (cataracts, vitrectomy, scleral buckle), bariatric, pain management, general surgery, urology, orthopedic arthroscopy, and podiatry preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience across the listed specialty procedures is preferred.
• Previous experience in a hospital operating room setting preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 1100 to 1930.
• Work days: Monday through Friday.
• On-call weekend coverage on a rotational basis.
