Quality Engineer

Position Summary Quality Engineer – Caremark LLC, a CVS Health company, located in Richardson, TX. Role focuses on designing and delivering efficient technical software solutions to support quality engineering standards for multiple software applications. Telecommuting available. Multiple positions. Responsibilities Develop and execute software testing strategies for large, complex projects. Document defects using bug tracking systems, report to teams, and coordinate defect review meetings. Analyze and report QE performance metrics including defect density, leakage, efficiency and team performance factors. Create quality dashboards and management reports, and implement measures to demonstrate business value for new QE initiatives. Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies and processes to ensure highest quality software product platform. Ensure testing approach, data and execution meet project objectives. Define and own engineering priorities in a fluid environment, communicate effectively with business partners. Collaborate with peer organizations, QA and end users to produce cutting‑edge software solutions. Direct software system testing, validation procedures, programming and documentation. Present technical information clearly to internal audiences. Participate in Agile Scrum meetings. Drive end‑to‑end test activities and artifacts for projects related to prescriptions, claims and healthcare activities. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams on development, technical requirements, code review, project deliverables, QA and best practices. Requirements Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Business Administration or related field. Two (2) years of experience in the role or related occupation. Mandatory experience in each: CI/CD, Jenkins, GIT, DevOps; XML, JSON, HTML; Agile/SAFe methodologies; REST, SOAP, Web Service APIs; Java, Python, or Node.js; SAS or SQL; Oracle, Teradata or DB2; object‑oriented JavaScript; PyData ecosystem; software testing, QA, troubleshooting; relational database concepts; automation using Cypress, Selenium, UFT; VBScript; modular, reusable test development integrated into existing frameworks.
