COMPANY PROFILE:

Our client is a multi-faceted, multi-site specialized manufacturing firm They have a very diversified operation and are looking for an Operations Manager to oversee one aspect of their operation.

THE ROLE YOU WILL PLAY: 

• Oversee plant operations and production.
• Provide production oversite, continuous improvement and lean principles
• Supervise a team of 10 direct reports
• Work with other departments and over see them through the supervisors. Including production, maintenance, shipping, quality, supply chain and engineering.
• Implement and maintain preventative maintenance plans, production improvement plans and cost reductions.
• Manage plant expenditures within the budget guidelines.

 

BACKGROUND PROFILE:

• BS in a relevant field or 5 years of manufacturing management experience.
• Working knowledge of manufacturing methodologies, process improvement principles, Lean principles and overall manufacturing knowledge.
• P & L, budget and costing experience would be beneficial.
• Ideal candidate would be a quick study and eager to learn.
• Good communication skills, people skills and problem solving are a must.
