About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President for CDFI Training to lead the execution and continuous improvement of its practitioner training portfolio. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the high-quality delivery of in-person, virtual, and hybrid training programs that enhance the capacity of CDFI and mission-driven lending professionals. This role involves overseeing the operational and logistical aspects of the training offerings, managing training-related platforms and systems, and supporting the Development Services team in providing a seamless and engaging experience for participants and facilitators. The VP will also be involved in curriculum development, maintenance, and facilitation, and will play a key role in expanding the training portfolio to include new and innovative learning formats. Applicants for the VP, CDFI Training position at the company should have a Bachelor’s degree or 5-7 years of direct professional work experience, with a minimum of 3-7 years in the CDFI industry or a closely related mission-driven lending environment. Direct lending experience or strong familiarity with lending operations is required, as is experience in program operations, project management, or capacity-building environments. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in supporting curriculum development and facilitation of training programs, as well as experience in managing digital platforms and systems. Strong project management, organizational, and facilitation skills are essential, along with a user-centered mindset and a passion for the mission of the company. The role demands a collaborative team player with excellent communication skills, the ability to work across all levels of the organization, and a commitment to driving capital into low-income communities.
