Job Title: Screw Machine Operator Location: 2925 Chief Court, Dallas, NC 28034 Shift Hours: 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday Competitive Compensation + 10% Shift Premium About the Company Dixon Quick Coupling, a division of The Dixon Group, is looking for a Screw Machine Operator to join our team in Dallas, NC. No prior screw machine experience required. Candidates with backgrounds in manufacturing, maintenance, automotive repair, welding, or general machine operation often thrive here. Candidates should be detail‑oriented, safety‑minded, and comfortable using tools like wrenches or calipers. We value Military Veterans; veterans are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities Learn to operate and maintain multi‑spindle screw machines by selecting tools, adjusting feeds and speeds, and loading raw materials (e.g., metal rods or bars). Interpret part drawings and instructions to produce accurate components. Use measuring tools like calipers, micrometers, and gauges to confirm parts meet specifications. Perform quality inspections and follow machining processes. Fine‑tune the machine or replace worn tools to maintain precision and productivity. Keep workspace clean and prioritize safety. Support the team with additional duties as needed. Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent. Understanding of how machines and tools work (e.g., automotive, HVAC, or maintenance experience). Previous experience running or monitoring production or packaging machines. Ability to read blueprints and use shop mathematics. Basic troubleshooting skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions. Ability to work in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment. Willingness to learn and be part of a team.
