Community Ambassador - Stonefire Berkeley

Job Description The Community Ambassador is at the forefront of the community and responsible for delivering exceptional service to prospective and current residents to help maximize occupancy year over year. Responsibilities Guide prospective residents through the leasing process, assist in planning and participate in marketing and community events, and meet sales goals as outlined by the Leasing & Marketing Manager and Community Manager. Understand the Housing Contract and related addendums and communicate all information clearly to prospective residents, residents, and guarantors. Perform all tasks required to close a sale in accordance with LEASE Training guidelines, including generating new leads, completing guest cards, scheduling and conducting tours, and follow‑up. Assist in promoting the community via social media platforms, on‑ and off‑campus marketing events, and email/text campaigns using Entrata and TextUs. Represent the community and Landmark Properties professionally; maintain a positive community environment and encourage participation in Residence Life activities. Resolve resident concerns/conflict by escalating to the appropriate manager. Perform daily opening and closing checklists, model & tour route inspection, and housekeeping as needed. Attend Landmark Lineup and required staff meetings. Respond to internet and telephone inquiries promptly and professionally. Enter maintenance requests as needed; keep detailed activity logs in prospect and resident accounts; label & log packages and send resident notifications. Enforce community policies and procedures and report any Housing Contract violations to the Community Manager. Adhere to corporate procedures and Fair Housing laws. Participate in turn‑related activities, including move‑in and move‑out days, unit inspections, and trash‑outs. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Accounting, Information Technology, Public Relations, or a related major is preferred. Strong organizational skills, reliability, and self‑discipline. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Ability to work evening and weekend hours, including resident lockouts, and availability during summer and turn periods. Preferred Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Excellent organization and time‑management skills. Reliability and self‑discipline. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Physical ability to stand, walk, sit, use hands, reach, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and speak or hear as required. Work Environment & Physical Demands The work environment is moderately noisy. Duties include standing, walking, sitting, using hands, reaching, climbing or balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling, and speaking or hearing.
