Nurse Practitioner - Primary Care

Family Nurse PractitionerNoorda College of Osteopathic Medicine is seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner to provide comprehensive, evidence-based primary care across the lifespan while helping educate future physicians and supporting clinic- and school-based research! Join a collaborative primary care clinic where patient care, medical education, and research come together.Key ResponsibilitiesAssess, diagnose, and treat acute and chronic conditions; provide preventive care and lifestyle-focused patient education.Order and interpret diagnostic studies, prescribe therapies, coordinate referrals, and maintain timely EHR documentation.Precept and mentor medical students, providing instruction, feedback, and clinical performance evaluation.Participate in research, quality improvement, patient safety, and population health initiatives.Collaborate with physicians, faculty, researchers, and interprofessional team members.Required QualificationsMSN or DNP from an accredited program.Current Utah APRN/NP license, or eligibility before start date.National Family Nurse Practitioner certification through AANP or ANCC.Active DEA registration, or eligibility before start date, and current BLS certification.Primary care or family medicine experience with strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills.Preferred QualificationsExperience in pediatrics, behavioral health, clinical teaching, research, lifestyle medicine, contemporary EHR systems, or value-based care is preferred.Schedule & LocationPart-time, 0.5 FTE | Approximately 2–2.5 clinical days per weekCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive compensation is offered based on experience and qualifications, prorated to 0.5 FTE.This position is not eligible for benefitsWhy Join Us?Make a meaningful impact through patient-centered care, hands-on medical education, and scholarly collaboration.
