Pay Range: $35.00 - $70.00About the job: Plans, coordinates and directs the manufacturing process as it relates to producing product on a Davenport multi-spindle screw machine. Opportunities for growth: Training is provided to further the knowledge of manufacturing engineering specific to company policies and standards as well as other areas of the business. Essential Functions & Responsibilities:Develops, evaluates and improves manufacturing methods, utilizing knowledge of product design, materials, fabrication processes, tooling and production equipment capabilities, assembly methods, and quality control standards.Conducts engineering activities within the department including design and drawing part prints, process layouts, tooling and gaugesConfers with engineering personnel to provide cycle time estimates and process design for new quoting opportunities.Confers with management, engineering, and other staff regarding manufacturing capabilities, production schedules, and other considerations to facilitate production processes.Confers with engineering and production teams to solve performance/operational issues to improve operational efficiency. Ability to read and translate customer blueprints including; raw materials, secondary processes and geometric tolerancing is required.Familiarity with CAD/CAM software (Cadkey, Autocad, Key Creator, Solid Works) is required.Develops corrective actions to findings from internal and external quality auditsExperience with internal audits and familiarity with quality standards including; IATF 16949-2016, ISO 9001-2015 and AS9100D is required. Minimum Experience: 5 years related manufacturing engineering experience. Other Requirements:Ability to work collaboratively to solve problems relative to area of responsibility.Ability to adhere to safety rules, policy and procedures.Ability to adhere to employee rules, policy and procedures. Gates Albert Offers a stable environment, excellent benefits, 401(k) match and career growth.EOE, including disability/vets
