Account Executive – Responsibilities Work alongside Producers, if assigned, serving as the HUB’s primary consultant to the client. Ensure Producers are fully informed about all client meetings and interfaces so they can manage the client relationship competently. Establish and maintain strong and productive professional relationships with C‑Level and other decision makers for assigned HUB clients. Possess detailed knowledge of the client’s business and industry, articulating applicable exposures to loss, insurance coverages, and risk‑management solutions. Maintain relationships with carrier marketing, underwriting, and risk‑control staff; familiarize with each carrier’s products and services. Directly oversee and coordinate delivery of all HUB services to assigned clients throughout the policy cycle, including stewardship reports, risk‑control services, carrier meetings, claims reviews, coverage outlines, and marketing of emergent/renewal coverage. Ensure client service needs are promptly and professionally delivered, either directly by the AE. Conduct annual reviews with clients making coverage and loss‑control recommendations to reduce total cost of risk. Manage HUB Top200 process and identify cross‑sell/up‑sell opportunities for HUB products and services. Document other insurance products/services the client purchases through third parties. Maintain current receivable status for assigned clients; pursue collection of receivables over 30 days past‑due. Leverage HUB resources and tools via “HUB Today” and comply with HUB systems, procedures, and state/federal insurance regulations. Effectively communicate orally and in writing, including designing and delivering group presentations. Participate in professional and/or civic associations on behalf of HUB. Qualifications Life, Accident and Health Insurance License required. Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, certifications, training, and relevant professional experience. 3–5 years of related experience working as an Account Manager. Experience influencing C‑Level executives. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). High energy, detail‑oriented self‑starter. Strong leadership, mentoring, and team‑building skills. Ability to handle competing demands and projects. Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize and delegate. Education & Licenses Life, Accident and Health Insurance License required. Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, certifications, training, and relevant professional experience that demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities required for success in the role. Experience 2–5 years of relevant experience. Travel Negligible local travel required. Department Account Management & Service.
