Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $17.46 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or drivers at the front desk by following site-specific policies, access procedures, and applicable emergency response activities.
• Monitor front desk activity, verify identification and/or visitor credentials, issue access materials as directed, and help to deter unauthorized entry into the location.
• Answer phones, greet arrivals, manage sign-in and sign-out activity, and maintain accurate front desk logs and other security-related records.
• Respond to incidents, questions, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency personnel when appropriate.
• Support security-related operations for a logistics and distribution location by observing incoming and outgoing activity, reporting unusual conditions, and following post orders and client-directed procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
