Project Manager III

Level Description 8 or more years of experience, relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, independently performs a variety of complicated tasks, a wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Certification in Project Management by a recognized project management organization or Scrum Master a plus. Job Description Project managers are the people in charge of a specific project or projects within a company. As the project manager, your job is to plan, budget, oversee and document all aspects of the specific project you are working on. Project managers might work by themselves or be in charge of a team to get the job done. Additional job details and special considerations Job Description - The project manager will be working on E HR project. Duties will include the creation of all necessary project documentation such as business case workbooks, project charters and schedule, biennial operating plans and amendments, requirements gathering, coordination, reporting, planning, researching, coordinating, evaluating project management , developing data conversion & migration plans and implementation strategy. Work with business owners, IT to oversee the solution vendor managing application/data migration efforts, assuring the use of best practices and standards, assisting in the coordination and optimization of HHSC operations and program functions and providing recommendations. The project manager should act as liaison between business users and vendors to provide required information. Works under limited direction with extensive latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment. Need to have EHR domain experience and good to have implementation experience. Good to have technical knowledge about databases, data migration etc.

Skill in using MS Project, EXCEL, Word, Visio, Jira and other project management tools. 10RequiredAbility to research, gather, assemble, correlate and analyze facts; to devise solutions to problems; and to prepare concise reports and/or to analyze and solve complex and difficult problems and prioritize information and issues. 10RequiredDevelop Migration and implementation strategy. Work with business owners, IT to oversee vendor. 10RequiredExperience in EHR application domain, application migration, workflow analysis, design, development of SDLC artifacts, support using software engineering practices. 10RequiredManage existing staff in developing data migration activities. Manage application implementation and mediate between business owners and EHR vendor. 10RequiredAbility to appropriately summarize and escalate issues and develop and present weekly status updates (written and verbal) and conduct regular project team status meetings. 10RequiredExperience in Communicating with all stakeholders, vendors, staff, team and leadership on day-to-day activities and also facilitate ownership and understand of project goals and objectives. 10RequiredExperience in EHR application domain, workflow analysis, design, development of SDLC artifacts, support using software engineering practices. 10RequiredStrong interpersonal abilities to lead diverse teams and inspire high productivity and collaboration among team members. 10RequiredProvide regular updates on the migration progress to all project stakeholders including immediate managers, leadership, system analysts. Use ticketing systems for information sharing and problem resolution. 10RequiredExperience in managing application migration, data mapping, data cleaning efforts. 10RequiredConduct meetings with Business subject matter experts and work with system analysts to document business workflow for existing systems. Address any questions that vendor has and act as liaison between IT, Business, and vendor, 5PreferredPrior experience with SaaS model EHR systems and cloud data migrations. 2PreferredExperience with HHSC Federal State processes and documentation, project documentation such as business case workbooks and project charters. 2PreferredPMP Certification 2PreferredFamiliarity with the existing and planned software technology and the global, regional, and local software architecture and infrastructure components Required Skills : Manager,Project Management Basic Qualification : Additional Skills : Manager,Project Manager Background Check : No
