Maintenance Technician

Join a brand-new, highly automated fulfillment facility where you'll help keep advanced material handling and packaging systems running at peak performance. This is a hands-on role where you'll troubleshoot, repair, and maintain cutting-edge equipment while supporting the Operations Maintenance team. You'll also have the opportunity to mentor junior technicians and grow your skills with state-of-the-art automation technology.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair material handling equipment across the facility
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
• Maintain automated packaging and distribution systems for reliable operation
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on motors, conveyors, and industrial equipment
• Diagnose equipment issues and implement effective solutions
• Help minimize downtime and improve system reliability
• Follow all safety procedures while working with industrial tools and equipment
• Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to complete work orders efficiently
• Document inspections, repairs, and parts usage accurately
• Train and mentor junior technicians
• Participate in training on new systems and technologies

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in one of the following: HVAC technician, millwright, commercial electrician
• OR military maintenance experience, trade school, or technical certifications
• Hands-on experience with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
• Strong troubleshooting and repair skills in industrial environments
• Experience working on motors and industrial equipment
• Commitment to workplace safety
• Willingness to work flexible shifts (days, nights, weekends)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in industrial maintenance, automation, or material handling systems
• Experience with automated packaging/distribution equipment
• Trade school education or advanced certifications (HVAC, electrical, etc.)
• Experience training or mentoring others
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, automated environment

Work Environment & Schedule

• Work in a modern, highly automated facility
• Shifts may include 12-hour standing/walking periods
• Ability to lift up to 49 lbs (with or without accommodation)

Training Schedule:

• MondayFriday, 8:00 AM 4:30 PM (first ~3 weeks)

Regular Schedule (4 days/week, 10-hour shifts):

• SundayWednesday or WednesdaySaturday
• Possible shift times:
• 6:00 AM 4:30 PM
• 6:00 PM 4:30 AM
• 5:00 AM 3:30 PM
• 5:00 PM 3:30 AM

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Aurora, CO.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $32.50 - $32.50/hr.
