Accounting Manager

Our client is seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee core accounting operations, strengthen financial processes, and support the continued success of the business. This role is ideal for a hands-on accounting professional who enjoys leading month-end close activities, improving processes, managing a team, and partnering with internal stakeholders in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee month-end close activities including account reconciliations, journal entries, financial statements, and balance sheet reviews
• Manage and improve accounting processes, internal controls, and standard operating procedures
• Oversee AP and AR operations, including billing, collections, and vendor processes
• Review and resolve accounting discrepancies while ensuring accuracy and timely reporting
• Partner cross-functionally with internal teams and leadership on financial analysis, budgeting, and operational initiatives
• Support audit processes and coordinate with external partners as needed
• Identify opportunities for automation, efficiency improvements, and enhanced financial controls
• Lead, coach, and develop accounting team members while driving performance and accountability
• Establish and monitor KPIs to support team and operational goals

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA required
• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Self-starter with the ability to operate independently and navigate change
