Business Analyst - Real-Time Payments (Global COT)

Salary: $61,000 - 101,000 per year Requirements:

• At least 3 years of experience, or equivalent expertise, in product management or a relevant domain, with demonstrated performance in either area.
• At least 6 years of financial services payments delivery experience, including direct real-time payments (RTP) scheme experience.
• Experience with operational management, change readiness, and product deployment.
• Strong execution discipline, stakeholder management, relationship-building, influencing, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Proficiency with AI tools to improve processes and identify automation opportunities; a collaborative approach to sharing knowledge and improving ways of working.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end payment processing, operational risk, and controls.
• Structured problem-solving and attention to detail, with proficiency in JIRA, Excel, PowerPoint, and process-mapping tools.
• Preferred: Knowledge of the product development life cycle and ISO 20022 messaging and payment flows, including initiation, status, returns, investigations, reconciliation, and reporting.
• Preferred: Experience with APIs, webhooks, host-to-host files, digital payment platforms, sanctions, fraud, transaction limits, liquidity, reconciliations, and exception processing.
• Preferred: Corporate and Investment Bank operations experience, process automation and transformation expertise, and familiarity with Alteryx, Tableau, and responsible AI-assisted analysis.
• Preferred: Experience supporting more than one CCB Operations Function or Line of Business.

• Partner with the Product Delivery Manager to complete key delivery tasks, improve efficiency, surface blockers, manage dependencies, and ensure appropriate resourcing.
• Support change management across functional partners and monitor adherence to firm risk, control, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with Operations, Product, and Technology to deliver scalable, resilient real-time payments capabilities and new digital payment products.
• Discover requirements and translate business needs into functional flows, use cases, acceptance criteria, and delivery requirements in JIRA.
• Run daily POD calls and document payment journeys, processing steps, and exception scenarios.
• Assess operational impacts and design future-state processes, target operating models, ownership, controls, and escalation paths.
• Identify operational, regulatory, fraud, sanctions, liquidity, accounting, and reconciliation risks, and define sustainable controls and mitigations.
• Develop and review testing scenarios with Operations, Product, and Technology, accounting for regional processes.
• Drive operational readiness, implementation planning, and go-live support.
• Facilitate workshops, resolve requirements gaps, communicate decisions and delivery status, and identify AI-enabled automation opportunities.
• Maintain program artifacts, deliverables, milestones, and RAID logs.
