PERSONAL BANKER San Mateo, CA, US 30+ days ago Requisition ID: 1023 Primary Account Abilities / Responsibilities: Opens and closes consumer deposit accounts and related products, including checking, savings, CDs, IRAs, and safe deposit boxes Prepares and processes new account documentation, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with bank policies and regulatory requirements Reviews prior-day new account activity for accuracy and resolves exceptions in a timely manner Assists customers with account maintenance, questions, and basic banking inquiries Supports customer onboarding by preparing new account starter kits and explaining account features and services Responds to online and electronic banking questions from customers Assists branch operations by supporting the teller line as needed, including transaction approvals and overrides within assigned authority Adheres to teller and new account policies, including check cashing guidelines and levels of authority Helps ensure new account and teller areas are properly stocked with forms and supplies Maintains a strong working knowledge of bank products, services, and digital banking options Demonstrates a consistently helpful, professional, and customer-focused attitude Identifies opportunities to introduce customers to additional bank products and services when appropriate Maintains neat and orderly work areas and ensures all confidential and negotiable records are properly secured Represents the bank professionally with customers and within the community Job Type: Full-time 401(k) 401(k) matching Health insurance Health savings account Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Education: Associate (Preferred) Experience: Banking: 5 years (Required) Ability to Relocate: San Mateo, CA 94402: Relocate before starting work (Required) #J-18808-Ljbffr Southwestern National Bank
