Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

Job Summary:
Seeking experienced Travel RN specializing in Labor and Delivery to provide exceptional patient care in a busy hospital setting. This role requires a dedicated professional to support maternal and neonatal outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to laboring women and newborns, ensuring safety and well-being.
• Monitor fetal heart rates and contractions using EFM and Toco equipment, responding promptly to any abnormalities.
• Administer medications and interventions per physician orders, including managing C-sections, cerclage placements, and removal.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure smooth delivery processes.
• Educate patients and families about labor, delivery, and postpartum care.
• Maintain accurate documentation in Meditech EMR, including assessments, procedures, and clinical notes.

Qualifications:

• Current RN license with valid BLS, ACLS, and NRP certification.
• Minimum of 1 year of Labor & Delivery experience.
• Proficient in fetal monitoring, IEF M, and use of related obstetric equipment.
• Able to demonstrate strong clinical judgment and communication skills.
• Preferred: BSN, RNC-OB, C-EFM certification.
