Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

$1884.96/week - Job Summary: Seeking experienced Travel RN specializing in Labor and Delivery to provide exceptional patient care in a busy hospital setting. This role requires a dedicated professional to support maternal and neonatal outcomes. Responsibilities: Deliver comprehensive nursing care to laboring women and newborns, ensuring safety and well-being. Monitor fetal heart rates and contractions using EFM and Toco equipment, responding promptly to any abnormalities. Administer medications and interventions per physician orders, including managing C-sections, cerclage placements, and removal. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure smooth delivery processes. Educate patients and families about labor, delivery, and postpartum care. Maintain accurate documentation in Meditech EMR, including assessments, procedures, and clinical notes. Qualifications: Current RN license with valid BLS, ACLS, and NRP certification. Minimum of 1 year of Labor & Delivery experience. Proficient in fetal monitoring, IEF M, and use of related obstetric equipment. Able to demonstrate strong clinical judgment and communication skills.
