Registered Nurse CVOR

Job Summary:
Provide specialized cardiac nursing care within the CVOR (Cardiovascular Operating Room) for patients undergoing cardiac and thoracic surgeries. Ensure patient safety, monitor vital signs, and support surgical teams throughout procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and prepare patients for cardiovascular surgeries and procedures.
• Monitor patient vitals and respond to intraoperative changes promptly.
• Assist surgical team by scrubbing and providing instrument support.
• Maintain sterile environment and adhere to infection control protocols.
• Document patient information and intraoperative data accurately.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Hold an unencumbered Oregon RN license.
• Possess current BLS certification at the Healthcare Provider Level.
• Obtain and maintain AHA ACLS certification.
• Have CVOR/Open Heart surgery experience.
• Preference given to candidates with ICU and scrubbing experience.
