Foxdale Village includes 57 apartments and 148 cottages and offers a range of health services with 46 beds in skilled nursing for short and long-term care, two memory care neighborhoods, and 55 beds in personal care, all with private accommodations.We currently have an opportunity for a new Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team.We are hiring for:Full-Time position and expected work 72 hours per pay period, (11am-11:30pm) and every other weekend/holiday. The LPN may administer I.V. medications if he or she has been certified to do so, following Foxdale Village's I.V. policies.Respect individual abilities, knowledge, and skill of both residents and staff.Foster a collaborative approach in working relationships with other Health Services staff, as well as the residents, their families and friends, and other departments.Uphold the rights of the residents and ensure confidentiality.Utilize the nursing process.Instruct Health Services staff members as needed in order to ensure safe and competent care.Utilize principles of infection control and instruct others as needed.Demonstrate and encourage use of proper body mechanics with safe lifting and transfer techniques.Participate in self and staff evaluations.Participate in staff development programs and in committees as assigned.Maintain a neat and appropriate personal appearance.Maintain punctuality and regular and predictable attendance in order to meet the daily healthcare needs of residents.RequirementsLicensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Minimum Qualifications Include:Graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing.Licensed to practice nursing in the state of Pennsylvania as a Practical Nurse (LPN).The possessor or have the ability to obtain a valid CPR card.Foxdale Village is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
