Company DescriptionFortune 500 CompanyJob DescriptionMust have Big 4 or Large Public and CPA or PartsDescriptionThis position is responsible to support the preparation and review of external reporting documents including 8-K Earnings Release, 10-Q, 10-K, and Annual Report. This person will assist the Reporting Manager with the timely completion of the quarterly and annual consolidated financial statement filings with the SEC (10-K, 10-Q, etc.) and various other statutory reporting requirements including:• Preparation of supporting information used to compile financial statements, notes and MD&A• Implementation and compliance with internal controls• Coordinate with multiple corporate employees to receive necessary input and disclosure support and coordinating with the company's external auditors• Review the company's SEC filings to ensure compliance with disclosure requirements• Assist in preparation and review of quarterly and annual reports• Assist with determining the implications of new accounting standards on the company and assist with associated implementation projects• Help with research and document the company's position in regard to complex accounting issues• Work in a fast-paced environment with significant deadlines• Perform other duties and special projects as assignedQualificationsBig 4 or Large Public and CPA preferred, or parts passed2+ years public accounting or corporate internal audit experienceSEC experience is a plusProficient in Microsoft Office (specifically Excel)Experience with Hyperion Financial Management is a plusAbility to organize and prioritize responsibilities effectively in order to meet deadlinesMulti-task on competing priorities which are deadline sensitiveStrong attention to detail and accuracyAbility to work independently in team oriented culture in a fast paced environment Possess the ability to effectively work with individuals from multiple business units and corporate functions within the Company, including executive managementAdditional Information$75K- $90K plus BonusPlease email View email address on click.appcast.io: Full-timeFunction: Accounting/AuditingExperience level: Mid-Senior LevelIndustry: Consumer Services
