About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President and Director of Clinical Research to lead a large, multidisciplinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for directing a diverse portfolio of clinical trials, bioinformatics, health IT, and comprehensive epidemiology research projects. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree and a minimum of 15 years' experience in clinical research, with a proven track record of innovation in health IT and clinical trials. Key responsibilities for the Vice President and Director of Clinical Research include developing and promoting thought leadership, fostering a culture of client satisfaction, and maintaining a strong focus on talent management. The role demands a leader with a strong background in government contracting, particularly in overseeing federal research projects. The candidate should be adept at mentoring and attracting talent, as well as having a demonstrated ability to bring innovation to the field. Excellent communication skills and a history of recognized thought leadership, including published work and conference presentations, are essential. The position is based in the United States and requires a commitment to on-site collaboration, with a preference for local candidates.
